So this is a new one that just opened up, it also happens to be opposite a previous favourite of mine, the Thai Hutt.
From the overall experience i would rate this restaurant 4/10
I've highlighted "overall" because, hey, 4/10 isn't good, but that doesn't mean i wouldn't recommend it. I do recommend it, see below.
The Bad
- Rickity/wobbily tables. I want to eat, not balance my plate or worry about my drink spilling all over the place.
- Mains, arn't that great. When i had a rice noodle dish i compared it to being very similar to one of those jarred sauces, canton or maggi.
- Service is very quick
- The entrée's are EXCELLENT. These are the reason why i would recommend it to people.
So to begin with, in this restaurant entrées are ordered on single servings. For example, for chicken satay sticks, you order one, or i can order just 1 dim sim (chicken dim sims fyi).
- Chicken Dim Sims
- Prawn thingos (Batterered prawns + sweet sauce) 10/10
- Chicken Satay
What we've been doing is getting entrées from Taste of Thai and getting our mains from Thai Hutt.
